Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. on October 17, 1984, is a Ghanaian dancehall musician, songwriter, and actor. He was born in Accra, Ghana, and grew up in the Korle Gonno neighborhood.
Shatta Wale started his music career in 2004 under the name Bandana. He gained popularity with his hit song “Moko Hoo” in 2004. He went on to release several other hit songs, including “Dancehall King,” “Everybody Like My Ting,” and “Kakai.”
